Ukrzaliznytsia deploys upgraded electric train on Lviv–Uzhhorod corridor from mid-September

Ukraine's state railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia will introduce a modernized electric train service on the Lviv–Uzhhorod route beginning September 15, 2026. The upgrade is part of ongoing efforts to improve passenger rail infrastructure and operational efficiency in western Ukraine.
