Russia Targets Gas Infrastructure Across Four Regions in Week-Long Drone and Missile Campaign

Russian forces conducted sustained attacks on Naftogaz energy facilities across Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions between May 18–23, using drones and ballistic missiles. An Ukrnafta fuel station was destroyed and two employees injured in the strikes.

The attacks represent part of Russia's ongoing campaign to damage Ukraine's energy infrastructure and reduce fuel supply capacity. Critical gas infrastructure across the four regions was targeted in what officials described as near-continuous strikes. These assaults follow a pattern of Russian efforts to degrade Ukraine's ability to sustain its economy and military operations by systematically striking energy assets nationwide.
